Are you looking for an exciting internship working for a real estate investor/entrepreneur buying and selling properties across the United States?Interested in working virtually, setting your own hours, and learning how to creatively invest in real estate? Learning about a variety of investing techniques, including purchasing foreclosures, profiting from tax sales, wholesaling, ways to make your properties more saleable, and locating cash buyers?
I'm looking for someone who is:

Self-motivated is a must because this is a remote work arrangement.
My company is a real estate investing firm using a variety of techniques to acquire properties throughout the U.S. We are looking for an intern to help us research properties, make offers, close on the properties and advertise and resell them.
Here are some of the main strategies that you will be working on:
-Buying & selling foreclosures
-Acquiring delinquent tax sale properties without attending the highly competitive tax sales
-Buying and flipping homes
-Building relationships with Realtors® (although we are not Realtors® ourselves, but rather investors)
-Finding private lenders & cash buyers
-Learning how to profitably sell properties with owner financing.
This opportunity is open to those seeking hands on experience. If you need college credit for your internship, we are willing to work with your school and academic adviser to assist you in obtaining credit.
This internship can be either part time or full time.
Responsibilities
I'm looking for someone who can:-Research properties online
-Create new marketing campaigns
-Call banks, real estate agents & homeowners
-Research county websites
-Study systems from others and implement what you have learned
Don't worry if you don't understand how to do everything listed above: some training will be provided.
And you'll probably end up doing other activities besides those listed as your job evolves. Sometimes you will need to research how to do something.

-Where you will learn the foundations of how to create a successful real estate investing company so you'll have the knowledge to start one someday.

-Somebody watching over your shoulder every 5 minutes

I'm easy going about most stuff but expect a few things:
1. Honesty
2. Hard work - (doing your best)
3. Willingness to learn - (I'll put a lot on you to learn)
4. An email sent to me daily answering - (This is an ABSOLUTE MUST)

-What challenges or obstacles you encountered
-What questions you have
5. Communication. That is a big one with me. This includes the ability for me to call you if necessary, although most of our communication will be via email.
Requirements
-Be at least a second year student-Have some education in, knowledge of and/or experience in real estate.
-Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (whether you’re a current student or recent graduate)
-Access to a computer (laptop or desktop)
-High speed internet access
-Long distance phone service
-Possibly use of a car, depending on where you’re located
-Digital Camera and/or Video Camera
Must be willing to work virtually as this internship is NOT on site.
This is an unpaid internship for college credit if desired. We will work with your school/academic adviser to help you fulfill college credit if needed but please let us know PRIOR to the beginning of your internship so that we can coordinate appropriately with your school.
We do sometimes bonus our employees, and if you work on profitable deals, you could earn some type of bonus.
