Description
Play Me Records is an independant digital record label based out of Santa Monica, California. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning about the digital music industry and the inner workings of digital record labels. This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door in the digital music industry and learn all about record labels and fan building.
We currently have internship positions available for:
• Social Media
• Licensing and Contracting
• Merchandising and Design
Responsibilities
*Uploading and quality checking multi-media
•Social Media Management and outreach
*Researching new Social Media and potential outlets
*Coordinating with a team for promotion and releases
• Email management and administrative duties
• Coordinating licensing deals and contracting artists
*Other duties as seen fit by supervisors
Requirements
*A degree or currently working on a degree with a focus on music business, digital marketing, or fashion and design
• A laptop computer, preferably Macintosh
•Knowledge of Google Docs, Calendars, and spreadsheets
*Knowledge of MS Office programs
*Internet and Social Media Savvy
*Outgoing personality along with a very positive attitude and desire to provide excellent support
•Capable of working autonomously and in non-typical work environments
*Willingness & ambition to learn and take on more responsibilities
*Outstanding time management skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Exceptional organization skills, detail-oriented and accurate
*Able to accept and implement constructive criticism
*Must be able to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week for 3 months
*Must have your own mode of transportation and be able to provide a valid driver's license
