DescriptionAs a 20 years old Company in Florida, we built a Market of clients and candidates which we match to facilitate the hiring of the people our clients need. We are a recruiting Company: we search, find, screen, interview and submit the candidates our clients request from us. We specialize on IT positions, both contract (temporary) and permanent (direct hire).
Our interns will be students about to graduate within the next 6 months, so once they complete their internship they will be fully knowledgeable of the staffing and recruiting industries and their fitness and appetite for a career with us. We will hire upon graduation those interns that demonstrate passion for their work with us, consisting in finding careers for people, and the resources our clients need to fill their open positions.

Energetic: interns that are 'hungry' to succeed and reap the rewards of their work and have the stamina, persistence and smarts to succeed. Creative: people that are not afraid to think differently, try new ways to improve their work and have the courage to take risks. This is a paid internship, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. A team environment with peers and supervisors for support.
Good humor is a must, just as being able to take their responsibility very seriously.
ResponsibilitiesWe receive job requirements (reqs), job descriptions (JDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Request for Quotes (RFQs) from our many excellent clients. Our interns will first learn how to 'source': search our own internal database of resumes, and others we subscribe to (Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice, LinkedIn, etc.) for the candidates that appear to have the credentials (skills, experience, degrees, etc.) as described on the document (req, JD, etc) the Client sent to us.
Once the Intern learns to source (we provide training, which we pay for), the Intern will learn to recruit: call, interview, screen, qualify, background check, negotiate rates/salary, etc. the candidates provided by the sourcers.
Sourcers do not call candidates, they simply fill the pipeline. Recruiters call candidates.
RequirementsSocial person. Active on social networks, peer groups and competitive in nature.
A degree on Information Technologies is very advantageous, as we deal with software engineers, programmers, project managers, QA Testers, etc. etc. This will greatly accelerate the learning curve, facilitating the understanding of job requirements, statements of work, job descriptions, etc. in the area of IT.
No previous experience required.
Work is virtual (from home), so candidates need to have a quiet place to work, internet connection and a computer they can use. We pay for high speed internet in addition to the salary and bonuses.
