Interscholastic Licensing Company (ILC) is supported by the WIAA to license and protect the logos of its member schools, and in turn, generate revenue to support their programs.
ILC Licenses school logos and establishes webstores for member schools. Each logo is registered with the State of Wisconsin as an official trademark, and is used on products sold in the webstore to generate revenue for the school, along with royalties and fees paid by outside vendors.
Each school will receive 50% – 60% of all gross profits earned from products sold via the webstore, along with any additional licensing fees and royalties paid by vendors (i.e. local retailers or printing companies.)
There is no cost to the school.
What are the financial risks involved? Each school assumes zero financial risk.
What are the webstores like?
The webstore are available for school members and families to purchase items bearing their school logos and other custom artwork. Each webstore is personalized with school colors and logos, and contain everything from apparel and accessories, to uniforms and sports equipment. The stores also feature some options like Coach’s Corner for bulk orders, plenty of fund-raising opportunities, and a convenient accounting system to track orders and profit.
