This position is for a CAD Flows Development Intern for the Reliability Verification (RV) team in the Intel Custom Foundry Group. Intel Custom Foundry Group is Intel's exciting new venture into collaborating with Industry hardware leaders and bringing their products onto Intel's leading edge process technology. The RV  team within Intel Custom Foundry Design is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of this experience of building the Industry's next generation products. Responsibilities include but not limited to:  Working closely with CAD and Design engineers to understand the specifications Implementing new specifications
Provide productive and efficient methods to solve design and automation problems as they arise. 
Develop methodologies for design flows 
Drive innovation and initiatives to enhance existing automation, tools and methodology.

You must be a graduate student, or accepted for a graduate program prior to May 2014, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Additional qualifications include:

A good understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application to analog and digital designs.

Basic understanding and experience in the use of industry standard CAD tools especially related to layout, extraction, and reliability. Good scripting skills with an ability to take specifications and convert to code Ability to work in a team environment and take direction

Previous internship or related job experience in VLSI design or CAD.
Must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without sponsorship.
