Description
This City Vision College internship position will assist with the daily operations of a rescue mission.
Internships last for one year.
Interns will receive:
- One year of experience at a rescue mission.
- Free food & housing provided by the sponsoring organization
- Free tuition for one year at City Vision College
- Earn a degree in Missions, Non-profit Management, or Addiction Studies

Responsibilities
-Reaching out to homeless men, women and families with spiritual help and material assistance
-Counseling and support of those suffering from substance abuse
-Working with disadvantaged and at-risk youth
-Neighborhood outreach
-Ensuring the safety and comfort of those inside the mission
-Food preparation and service
-Maintenance of the building facilities
-Involvement in the "business" and administrative functions of the ministry, i.e. fundraising, accounting, management.
Requirements
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or lawful permanent resident alien in US. We do not place foreign nationals in internships unless they already have an organization in the United States that will sponsor them. (See PDF for instructions)
