Description
As an intern for the BOSSArc division of Business Office Support Services, LLC, students will be presented with the opportunity to craft interior plans for illustrating their design ideas and demonstrating their personal level of creativity. BOSSArc utilizes standard industry software including Autocad to produce detailed drawings for architects, and contractors throughout Florida. Students will have the opportunity to work side by side with key building designers to produce well thought out, and flowing interior and exterior designs to be sold in the local real estate market.
Responsibilities
Creating written or illustrated plans of creative thought to design rooms for maximum impact. Single family residents, student housing, hotels, studios, townhomes, multi family projects and more will be the primary projects that are designed and students will be responsible for identifying interior details such as flooring crown molding, ceiling structure, back splash appliances, etc. Students will also be required to produce cost analysis for their designs and perform post reviews of their products if built.
Requirements
Students must be able to show proof that they are currently majoring in interior design at a post secondary or professional institution. No special designations or specific coursework achievements necessary. Students must a personal laptop, mobile phone, access to scanner, fax, printer, internet access and use of personal email account.
