Roaming Billing Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing revenue for billing accuracy, completing daily reconciliation, providing necessary weekly/monthly reporting to specific groups and setting up billing system with appropriate rating information for specific shared service entities. Perform resolutions of different requests and issues that come up to ensure commitments and timelines are achieved.
Candidates must be self-managed, possess basic analytical and time management skills, be detail oriented and be able to prioritize and multi-task different processes and tasks to completion.
-Produce FCH Settlement cycle reports to distribute to Accounting
-Analyze FCH Settlement reports to determine accuracy and trending
-Follow up with roaming partners for non-payment of net receivables
-Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams such as Revenue Assurance, Roaming Operations, Accounting, Switch Techs, etc.
-Collaborate with external entities such as clearinghouses, billing vendors and roaming partners
-Conduct data analysis including the collection of data from appropriate reporting, inputting into reconciliation spreadsheets to ensure proper and accurate billing and rating
-Monitor and trend call record, megabyte and minute volumes of roaming partners and of our shared service entities subscribers
-Identify and obtain necessary reporting information to address billing issues such as rating, unbillables, rejects, etc
-Entering billing information into the various billing tools and systems and thereby ensuring 100% billing accuracy
-Perform ad hoc commercial/analysis requests and assist billing team in the management of roaming issues and queries from internal and external clients
-Providing daily, weekly and monthly reporting to internal teams and shared service entities in appropriate timelines
-Additional duties and responsibilities upon request.
-Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
-Self-directed and highly motivated.
-Attention to detail.
-Must work well within a team environment and be available to handle multiple diverse customer requests in a professional and timely manner
-Able to manage multiple priorities, changing priorities and deliverables
-At least one to two years of wireless experience preferred but not required
-Time management skills
-Good planning, scheduling, coordination and follow through skills.
-Possess high degree of integrity, reliability and confidentiality.
-Ability to clearly prioritize multiple, concurrent tasks and drive them to completion
-Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
-Proficient in EXCEL and WORD
