Higher Mobility, located in Pennsauken, NJ, is offering a Sales and Marketing internship starting in the Summer 2011. This Intern-to-Full Time opportunity will allow a graduating student to participate in generating new business opportunities with training and direction from the Director of Sales. Tasks include research, developing sales leads, reaching out to existing and potential customers and negotiating new business for the company. Interns will be trained to professionally transfer leads to the proper party or parties, and often will be in a position to track the results of their efforts.
Responsibilities
• Work with the Higher Mobility team in creating and implementing sales leads.
• Regularly monitor communications with existing and potential customers
• Network among industry professionals developing new leads
• Ability to prioritize and multitask projects
• Provide support and promotion through online social networks: Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Internships are unpaid but will be offered commissioned until full time work.
Requirements
Must be proficient online
Ability to work with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work with a team as well as independently
Candidate should be located within the South Jersey or Philadelphia region
Must own a computer
Some Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering background is a plus
