Description
Different Drummer Travel is seeking energetic and enthusiastic SEO interns who enjoy writing content for articles and blog posts. This effort includes creating unique content, research keywords, analyze data and compile competitor research. The successful candidates must be comfortable working in a high-energy, start-up environment and have a passion for learning about the e-commerce and search segments of the Internet industry.Responsibilities
Research relevant keywords and help maintain a database of keywords, categories and relevant data for each.Research and write product specific posts for category specific blogs on DifferentDrummerTravel.com
Knowledge and ownership of key paid search business performance metrics; revenue per visitor, conversion rates and overall revenue
Optimize performance of the keyword portfolio by testing new content initiatives.
Writing unique and engaging product descriptions for products
Optimizing product titles for search
Identifying hot products using internal company tools.
Monitoring and reporting metrics for SEO
Researching and evaluating links through several channels
Conducting competitive search marketing analysis
Install analytics and goal tracking on our website, launch experiments, help us generate more traffic and increase conversion percentages.
Work to leverage article marketing, video marketing, Twitter, Facebook, blogging, and link building to increase traffic to our site.
Requirements
Must be in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in engineering, marketing, mathematical, science, or other highly quantitative disciplineAbility to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills
Experience and comfort in working in a team environment
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for getting results
SEO operations experience a plus
This position requires a 3 month commitment from the candidate, any special circumstances are subject to negotiations
