Recently named the ninth fastest growing privately held technology company in the United States, we are currently looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team at our Chicago, IL office.Job Description: We are the Simulation Development Team! We would like to think that we create super fun video games all day long but really we just argue about Breaking Bad and Tokyo Drift too often to actually get any work done. Although, when we aren’t arguing over video games and TV shows, the sim dev team uses an industry standard game engine to develop simulation software. You might ask, “Simulation software, what is that?” Well, I am happy to answer your question Jedi Padawan! Our 3D simulation platform is built upon a versatile game engine for the purpose of creating realistic and engaging virtual shopping experiences! Our software really is as fanstastical as it sounds. But we need your help! We need an evil minion to develop and design even more amazing tools/software and extensions to our already world dominating platform. As our minion you will be required to partake in the following activities: • Learn the InContext simulation development pipeline. • Solve programming problems like: “Discovering how many licks it actually takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop” • Create tools and custom solutions to our research projects. • Find youtube videos that the rest of the technology team hasn’t seen yet. • Work with members of multiple InContext teams to simultaneously execute a variety of projects • Develop super duper efficient tools and applications that quicken and ease the project pipeline • Shoot our HR manager with nerf darts • Arm wrestle the CEO
