LOOKING FOR OUTREACH/ SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR – INTERN (part-time – to start ASAP - length of time negotiable - College Credit available) Intern would get to be an integral part of the management of a Kickstarter campaign and pre-production for our inspiring Bi-lingual/ Bi-cultural Sports Social impact documentary, featured on PBS Frontline World & awarded an HBO/ NALIP Grant! Offering hands on experience with Doc fundraising, Development, Producing, Marketing and Distribution to passionate & aspiring doc filmmakers wanting to learn more about Bi-cultural Social Impact films. Intern will be handling Research, Blogging, Social Media Outreach, managing content for films website/ events/ screenings and help in Pre-production coordinating for up-coming shoots. We are excited to bring people on board that are interested in growing along with the project to go from unpaid intern to paid staff on the production. We are looking for a committed candidate who is passionate about journalism, documentary film, social justice, digital media, and storytelling who can help us grow audience, engage in conversation, and build our partnerships. Schedule is flexible, but we need a commitment of at least 10 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. This is an unpaid internship but school credit can be provided. Payment for transportation and Food will be provided at production meetings. Some work can be done from home. (In some cases, we could work remotely.) We are based in Brooklyn. This is a great opportunity for getting hands-on experience and being part of an award winning film with a greater cause.
