We are “TechCrunch” and "Entrepreneur Magazine" for property investors - an online news media website for the real estate industry covering all aspects of US property investing including buying/selling, foreclosures/short sales, renovations and development, property management and tenants, mortgages and refinancing.Responsibilities
Be in your final year of Journalism/Media/Public Relations/Marketing degree.Have an excellent command of English and online article writing experience – must be able to provide samples of previous work.
Be able to commit to a 12 month, full time, unpaid internship.
Have an interest in investing and real estate.
Be flexible/adaptable for a startup business environment.
Know social media and be web savvy.
Basic design and image editing skills using Photoshop.
Requirements
The role is split between writing/editing and marketing/PR activities. Tasks will include the following:Research, write and edit articles.
Publish and maintain the website content.
Basic design and image adjustments for online content.
Manage media callouts and article contributions.
Contact and conduct investor and company profile interviews.
Manage social media and marketing campaigns.
Attend networking events as needed.
Contact and building relationships with sponsorship and advertising agents.
In addition, candidates should be:
Enthusiastic, energetic and willing to learn with a hands-on approach.
Ambitious, driven and full of ideas.
Looking to gain career related work experience, connections and client management skills.
Thrive under responsibility and autonomy while working with an international and remotely connected team. As a result, there are no restrictions on where you are located in the US.
