IVS an Automated retail / Self serve kiosk company, is accepting new applicants for a Social Media Expert . You will interact with other Social Media individuals. Team members must be able to operate off-site, and communicate effectively through conference calls and emails. We will have a small team (3-4) individuals who are able to prove proficiency using various social networking web sites and applications. The goal of this team is to increase brand awareness, develop social marketing campaigns, and provide feedback / progress reports to sales teams and management.
Responsibilities
Setup and manage company social networking web site accounts, use various web sites and portals to build brand awareness, create marketing campaigns (including google adwords, facebook ads, email, etc.), research industry publications and online resources to develop content for social media sites as well as Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, and Blog portals. The Social Media team will work with closely creative and development team members, as well as members of the sales and management teams on a regular basis.
Requirements
No formal education required. Prefer candidates that are currently, or have completed, marketing, new media, or informatics programs. Must be computer and web savvy. Knowledge of major social networking web sites, general web navigation, strong web search techniques, and good written communication skills.
