Responsibilities
As a recently launched company, we are constantly seeking opportunities to continue adding to our credibility. Where do you come in? You will be the one establishing our social media presence in Los Angeles! To do that, you will be responsible for the following duties:
· Independent management of the GBA Los Angeles twitter account
· Daily postings regarding LOCAL music artist news and any local entertainment
news/stories
· Weekly features such as LA indie artist/label of the week
· Organic interaction with talent (i.e. artists, actors, models, dancers, etc.) as well as fans
and other professionals, companies, and organizations in music and entertainment
based in Los Angeles
· Effective use of follows, retweets, mentions, and hashtags to maximize company
exposure
· Continuous efforts to drive attention back to our main GBA website and social media
sites
· Bi-weekly reporting to GBA’s main social media administrator
· Ability to represent GBA at local LA events, when needed, and provide report to CEO of
professionals/talent in attendance
· Additional duties as required
Requirements
As we’re placing our local social media presence in your hands, we have to make sure you’re capable! We suggest that applicants are able to:
· Work remotely with minimum supervision
· Commit to at least 5 months as GBA’s LA Twitter Intern (Internship is open ended)
· Demonstrate a sincere interest in all facets of the entertainment industry: Music, Film,
Theater, TV, Modeling, Dance, etc.
· Display experience in using twitter for personal use at a minimum, but preferably for
professional use
· Have a strong network and knowledge base of the entertainment scene in Los Angeles
