MarketVision Gateway is the industry leader in market research data collection. We research new and innovative products for clients around the world in our facilities located inside Universal Studios Orlando. Our quantitative product testing, focus groups, and one-on-one qualitative interviews assure the validation needed in collecting accurate data for our clients to analyze. MVG will work within the college’s internship guidelines. The internship will be paid by a stipend which is distributed out twice- ($125) at the half way point and ($125) at completion of the internship. Interns invest the required amount of time as specified by their college-typically 15-20 hours per week. The program will span from May 9th through August 9th. Upon successful completion of the internship the student will have a great lift to their resume, may gain course credit, receive a valuable letter of recommendation and certificate of completion, and be able to connect with MVG on LinkedIn.com. Skill sets and experience gained from this internship are invaluable and fully transferable! MarketVision is a forward-thinking, fast paced company looking to bring on marketing student to work on a social media team of four. We are currently redesigning our existing internship website (http://marketvisiongatewayblog.wordpress.com/), and will soon launch a social media campaign. The intern selected for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team. Responsibilities

-Work collectively with the social media team to optimize online outreach and promotion using Facebook, LinkedIn & the MVG Internship website -Promote MVG internship opportunities, job openings and events -Design creative elements such as collages and layout option ideas for the internship web page -Develop and implement new marketing strategies -Research project concepts and present findings and suggestions to the social media team and management -Outline goals and objectives -Contribute image ideas to the team graphic designer to be used for both web and print -Participate in weekly meetings with the social media team and MVG management to update and monitor progress -Some tasks may be able to be accomplished at home so this internship may be partially remote To apply for the MVG Summer 2013 Internship Program please submit your résumé and cover letter specifying your interest in the program to Jade Kimmeth at jkimmeth@marketvisiongateway.com by March 31st, 2013. www.marketvisiongateway.com http://marketvisiongatewayblog.wordpress.com/

Requirements

Intern should have a strong working knowledge and understanding of various social media websites. Students applying for this internship should be creative minded while possessing the ability to see the whole picture and clearly convey ideas. Required field of study should be marketing, sales and advertising or business with and emphasis in marketing. The minimum GPA necessary for eligibility is 3.0. Experience using any of the following is preferred: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection, Word Press, Facebook, Youtube, Linkedin, Picasa, Flickr, Visual Studio and Final Cut Pro. Interns must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in combination with a strong desire to learn and apply new skills. We prefer that student interns receive credit through their college for internship participation but this is not a requirement.
