Description

KrowdByz is a web technology company working to revolutionize the future of online business interactions, and creating virtual tools for the internet based freelancer community. Our customers are small businesses, internet professionals, and independent freelancers who work in the online services marketplace - one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. Our current product is a new kind of profile building engine for freelancers that do “micro-jobs” (think Fiverr and TaskRabbit), and need a different type of “web resume” to record their job history. For more information see our company page on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/KrowdByz We are a young fast growing company, with Tech and Business departments and associated personnel spread across several cities and 3 continents. There is no central office - and the bulk of our creative process happens in virtual collaborative environments. There will be no copies or coffee making - but we will be interested in your creative input, your resourcefulness, and you will get to take part in the hectic and decentralized company culture of a tech startup. This is a virtual internship that can be done from anywhere in the US (we also have a program for international interns). This is not an internship for people who aren’t independently motivated or are looking for a traditional office workplace. (No cubicles and water coolers here.) This program requires participants to be serious about taking initiative, staying in contact, being willing to learn from and take critical feedback from their teammates, as well as be able to work with multiple partners (in locations around the world) within a virtual office space.

Responsibilities

Applicants must have: - A resume detailing previous applicable experience. - Have a working knowledge of Google docs, Skype, G-chat, and standard social networking platforms. - Your hours will be flexible, but we expect a 10-15 hours a week time commitment, (with breaks for finals, etc.) for one to remain a participant in the internship. (For a total of 14 productive weeks.) You can apply through this site, or send an email with an attached resume to Internships@KrowdByz.com for a more immediate response. Use the name of the department you are applying to in the subject heading. Indicate when you are looking to begin the internship.
