Social News Startup InternshipBookmark This
DescriptionWhat is quippd all about?
There's a lot of news out there. A lot of it is misinformation. It shows up everywhere, from Facebook status updates, blogs, even to large sites like CNN and MSNBC. It may happen because people have a political agenda, are lazy — or might just not know that much about what they are talking about.
How is anyone ever supposed to have an idea of what is really going on without researching every bit of information we come across?
We want to fix this problem, but we didn’t think we could do it alone. So we want everyone to get involved. If you have good research skills, are an expert, or just want to learn, you can get involved in curating the news.
Instead of trying to figure out on your own whether Fox or CNN are spinning something a certain way, you can share sources, compare notes, figure out what really makes sense, and publish it like a wiki.
Join us and get involved in creating a better conversation about the zeitgeist.
