The Emerging Technologies program is an 18 month Leadership Development Program that recruits and develops recent graduates into IT professionals. Emerging Technologies hires are placed on assignments that focus on a variety of areas including managing legacy transformation projects, Cloud Services, API Realization, and Big Data initiatives. Program participants will receive technical assignments in Human Factors, Big Data, and Developer roles.
Creative Designer:Designs the latest human-computer interfaces for applications with both the customer and mobility in mind. Activities include user research, wireframe modeling, interface design, and usability testing, translating detailed results into visual story lines. Skills include, but are not limited to, the following:
Â· Knowledge of human factors
Â· Aptitude for visual thinking
Â· Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and PowerPoint preferred
Â· Experience with Microsoft Expressions, Adobe Flex, Dreamweaver, and Visio beneficial
Big Data Scientist: Analyzes extensive data sets through innovative data analysis and visualization tools. Learn analysis practices and put into work to identify patterns and trends to examine data. Skills may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Â· Aptitude for large scale data analysis and problem solving
Â· Ability to identifying key insights from data
Â· Experience with visualization tools such as D3 and Qlikview helpful
Â· Knowledge of Oracle databases and data structures
Developer: Develops, implements, and maintains systems on multiple platforms. Activities include documentation, adherence to standards and communicating with IT groups. Skills may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Â· Familiarity with software development process and practices: Agile, unit testing and version control
Â· Experience with a variety of platforms and frameworks: Linux, Windows, Java EE, jQuery, Android, and iOS
Â· Technical, Management/Leadership and Elective Training curriculum
Â· Job assignments within Information Technology Organization
Â· Professional Development, formal mentor program and peer/leadership support
Â· Networking Opportunities: key executive leadership sessions, business area and industry
General Emerging Technologies Requirements
Â· Masterâ€™s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Business MBA, Management Information Systems or related fields
Â· 2 years of experience required
Â· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and leadership both internal and external
Â· Self-starter with the ability to both work independently and with cross-functional teams and work effectively in multi-disciplinary environment
Â· 3.2 GPA or above preferred

- 1-3 years experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications
- Strong understanding of and experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Takes initiative, quick learner and desire to seek answers from team members and other groups.
- Proficient in development methodologies (AGILE, ITUP, 3D, etc.)
- BS degree in Computer Science of related technical field
- Develop technical documentation on applications and systems.
- Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams.
