Spring Interns needed for Growing Corporate & Lifestyle PR firm moving into their first Midtown Office.
Perfect position for a driven, enthusiastic, ambitious PR student! Looking for a self-starter, sharp, vibrant, outgoing, personable, creative and a great multi takser. Candidate should have a true passion for learning PR field - top to bottom from a growing firm.
Responsibilities
Intern will work closely with PR Assistant on all projects. Duties include: assisting with research, social media integration, compiling media lists, assisting with pr writing (pitches, press releases, internal memos), and monitoring and clipping client media placements.
Requirements
Requirements: Must be enrolled in Mass Communications Degree (i.e.: Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, and/or Communications.). Must be NYC-area based.
More Requirements: Microsoft Office/PowerPoint/Photoshop proficient, Strong written and oral communication skills, highly organized with strong attention to details, Able to handle deadlines and effective multi-tasking, and Comfortable working independently and with group projects.
PR Intern will be working in the office two days a week along staff to complete all necessary projects. 12-15 hours per week minimum, weekend hours may be needed for specific events.
