Description. This internship is designed for current college students at the undergraduate or graduate level wishing to gain practical experience in stage management in a professional environment.
Compensation. Housing will be provided with a host family or local hotel free of charge. Some meals and a modest travel stipend will also be provided. College credit may be possible depending on the academic institution; it is the responsibility of the intern to explore credit opportunities.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will include: 1) working with musicians to set up rehearsal space and maintaining the rehearsal environment and 2) setting up and management of the floor during performances. The intern will work closely with the recording and production intern, stage crew, and Festival administration.
Requirements
Requirements. Previous experience in a similar position is highly recommended.
