DescriptionSalesBus is a startup that connects awesome brands (fashion, food, tech accessories) with salespeople to go out and sell products in their communities. We are launching this fall on college campuses across the country.
We are currently looking for a smart, energetic intern to work on sales, business development and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the business development/sales process (creative lead generation, research, cold calling, negotiating and closing) as well as getting first hand experience with the awesome (we think so) founders of an NYC internet start-up.

You want to work at an early stage internet startup
You have good written and verbal communication skills.
You have the ability to take initiative
You are extremely organized and detail-oriented and are comfortable multi-tasking
You are self-motivated and can manage multiple workflows and prioritize your own time
Firsthand access to founders
Small stipend at the end of the semester
ResponsibilitiesSeek out cool brands and products to use our product
Assist with the research and development of sales prospects and preparations for meetings
Support post-sale client communication and coordination
Manage social media and other web content
Help with internet marketing
RequirementsAvailable a minimum of 3 days per week
Must have a laptop
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate education in a marketing, communications or business related major.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
