Marketing & Communications Internship
The Marketing and Communications department supports various marketing, advertising and web based initiatives to effectively market HFA and its products and services. Additionally, the Marketing & Communications department is responsible for delivering tactical messages to key constituents and securing favorable press coverage to promote the company’s status as a leader in the music industry.
We offer internships in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring and Fall internships are part-time positions (12-15 hrs/week), unpaid, school credit only. Spring term begins in January and end in May. Fall begins in September and ends in December. The summer internship is a full-time paid internship, which runs from June through August. Cuts off dates for applications are: December 15 for Spring, May 15 for summer, August 15 for fall. • Assist with the management of social media sites including Twitter, Facebook and numerous blogs
• Recommend and build a company presence on additional social media sites (i.e. blogging, online publications)
• Research new online tools to effectively communicate company news
• Research social media trends
• Update and expand media contact lists
• Contribute to SEO Search Optimization Project
• Assist with various marketing and communications projects as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate or graduate student with marketing or communications.
• Familiarity/strong interest in digital music technology preferred
• Well organized, detail-oriented, hardworking, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software - including PowerPoint
