Blue Rock Data is a startup Real Estate Investment company based in Jersey City, NJ. Although our group is relatively young (we are all in our 20's), each of 3 partners has an average of 4+ years running a foreclosure and related real estate data collection company. Our current focus with Blue Rock Data is to shift to using our data to invest in real estate in various parts of New Jersey. This means marketing and reaching out to distressed homeowners and other motivated sellers. It might also include obtaining other types of leads to sell to real estate investors. Intern(s) will get to learn aspects of how we obtain leads and help us in our process of marketing and finding profitable investment deals.
Responsibilities
Interns daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
Collecting information from county records, helping to create marketing letters, sending out letters and marketing materials, answering phone calls, visiting sites with other team members, creating reports on potential investment properties, researching on and offline, corresponding with individuals via email, reading and learning investment and marketing related books.
This is unpaid internship but candidates will be reimbursed for travel and lunch
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong interest in real estate and or working in a small start-up environment.
Consideration given to candidates with:
- experience using Microsoft Excel
- proactive and driven attitude
- strong writing abilities
