Description

Perform activities in the talent acquisition department to include job matching, recruiting, and screening to place unemployed applicants and assist employers to fill their open positions.

Responsibilities

Perform job matching activities using the person/job match model.
Assist the Talent Acquisition or BS department with the flow of resumes from different recruiting sources.
Review resumes of applicants and determine their qualifications for a given job(s)
Select qualified job applicants or refer them to Employers (Customers), making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
Provide expertise on job descriptions when needed.
Mine databases to perform a person/job match
Perform cross-functional KSAs when needed by using O*Net or other sources.
Performance of Needs Assessments and determination of skill gaps when appropriate (TORQ & O*Net and other sources).
Understand the human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to the application of activities.
Inform job applicants of job openings that may fit their employment needs.
Maintain and update human resources documents, such as Staffing Plan, Charts and Staffing Evaluation Forms.

Requirements

Education and Working Experience Requirements:
Must be enrolled in an HR Degree
Must have completed the following academic courses:
o Workforce Planning and Staffing
o Employment Law
o Human Resources Management
o Training and Development of HRM (Preferred, but not required)
Must possess excellent computer skills
