Description
TE Connectivity has a Technical Sales summer internship available in Fuquay Varina, NC within the Energy business unit (BU) of the Industrial Solutions organization. The Technical Sales Intern will focus on a key projects and support technical sales initiatives within TE Connectivity’s Energy Division.
Responsibilities
The primary responsiblility will be to assist and support the Sales team in all the technical customer requirements. This will include obtaining and evaluating product or customer specifications, matching it with existing or new products, preparation of all technical documentation and developing technical arguments in support of our products.
- The selected intern will assist in the creation of launch packages for products.
- Sample preparation and customer demonstration as required and Customer training when needed.
- This job function will also include product improvements and application engineering as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented sophomore, junior, or senior currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Sales; with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills and who meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a good technical sales background;
- Must have good interpersonal skills;
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 in designated major and a minimum GPA of 2.80 overall;
- A willingness to submit to and successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and reference check;
- A demonstrated ability in the following competencies: action orientation, creativity, integrity & trust, and problem solving.
