Test Engineer StudentBookmark This
This position is at the Lexmark facility located just outside of Boulder, Colorado. This facility houses development, engineering, and manufacturing for supplies of Lexmarks extensive line of laser printers.
The supplies evaluation/functional test department is seeking a summer student intern to assist in the functional testing of Lexmark's laser printer supplies (toner and photoconductor drums). The student will use their engineering knowledge to work with department engineers on the evaluation of printer supplies in a wide variety of development printer test platforms. Responsibilities may include: working with engineers and technicians to support printer platforms and testing needs; using MS Excel, scanners, and other software tools to quantify print quality; understanding the effects of process parameters on print quality; and gaining an appreciation of workflows and process efficiency.
-Completed sophomore or junior year of electrical or mechanical engineering undergraduate program
-Interested in working in a problem solving, team-based environment
-Enthusiastic learner with strong oral and written communication skills
-Interested in a hands-on engineering project (esp. trouble-shooting mechanical/electrical device issues)
-Ability to use MS Excel and Powerpoint
