The Daily Meal (www.thedailymeal.com) Summer 2013 Internship Programs Now Accepting Applications Details: The Daily Meal is looking for talented, driven, food-obsessed individuals to join our team as summer interns. In addition to general administrative duties, job responsibilities will include researching and compiling data for editorial content, assisting the editors in curating the restaurant and bar city guides, and reaching out to contributors. There will also be opportunities to contribute writing, including recipes and restaurant reviews. While this is an unpaid internship, academic credit is available. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the food world and what goes into the maintenance of a large-scale, national food website. Candidates should have a love of food and drink, have a comprehensive knowledge of the online food media landscape, be able to multi-task, adapt, and be able to research and write quickly and effectively. The website aims to be the No. 1 food destination for recipes, restaurant reviews, editorial content, cooking advice and consumer sharing.
