Track Star Tutoring, Inc. is an education organization aimed at providing academic assistance and tutoring to grades K-12. Track Star Tutoring has extensive experience keeping students on track with education. Our mission is to empower students with the education and skill set that would make them successful in their academic pursuits. We have worked with and partnered with several public schools to meet the academic needs of their students. We would like the opportunity to provide students with the education and experience that will enhance their learning experience.

We are looking to hire several interns as soon as possible. We would like our interns to start by next week, if possible.

As a Track Star Tutoring intern, the college student will gain a relevant "real world" and meaningful work experience & environment in which to apply their academic experience. Our interns not only receive challenging projects and assignments, they are included in meetings and other Track Star activities. Our interns have their own workspace and work in a casual business environment. We welcome new ideas and input to help Track Star Tutoring remain one of the best education organizations to work for. As an intern, college students acquire marketable skills to complement their education as well as develop leadership skills and build relationships with employers and other professionals. Track Star Tutoring interns receive invaluable training in sales, marketing, tutoring, and effective professional communications skills that prove essential in today's job market.

Current internship positions currently available for immediate hire:
** Marketing/Sales/Public Relations Intern
** Graphic Design/Web Design Intern
** Creative Artist Intern
** Scheduling/Appointment Setter/Customer Relations Intern
** Tutoring Intern

** Some of the Track Star Tutoring Interns will work in the various schools where the programs and services are offered.


The Track Star Tutoring Intern responsibilities vary based on position hired for.

For the Marketing/Sales/Public Relations Intern, responsibilities include helping with promoting workshops, tutoring programs and event planning.
For the Graphic Design/Web Design Intern, responsibilities include developing and maintaining website and responding to inquiries from online forms.
For the Creative Artist Intern, responsibilities included designing banners and flyers for programs and services offered. For the Scheduling/Appointment Setter/Customer Relations Intern, responsibilities include calling leads, setting appointments, answering any questions parents have regarding programs and services offered.
For Tutoring Intern, responsibilities include providing academic assistance to students, created student specific lesson plans, and working directly with students in the classroom to provide team assistance and support to other teachers and tutors.

***Responsibilities for each position may include assisting with ad hoc projects and other assistance on other projects and programs.


The ideal interns should meet the following criteria:
* A demonstrated interest in working with children and young adults
* Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher (with B+ in English, Algebra, and other related coursework)
* Available to work 10 to 15 hours a week
* Able to provide professional and/or academic references
* Provide transcripts from high school or college attended
