Description
Shift Transition helps recent high school graduates prepare for college, employment, and independent living. Our services include transition counseling and life coaching, an employment skills class, and job/internship placement. We opened our doors in September 2012 in Ridgewood, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a college student majoring in psychology, business, or education. You will learn a lot about running a small start-up company and be part of a great cause as well. The internship is 3-4 months long, 10-20 hours per week, with a very flexible schedule; however, working during some nights (after 5 PM) required.

Responsibilities
-Assist with marketing
-Building our employment partnerships
-Aiding instructors during the employment skills class
-Working with clients in building life skills and positive perspectives
Requirements
- Must be able to get to Downtown Ridgewood, NJ (easily accessible via train or bus).
- Must be a college student or graduate.
- Previous job experience preferred in the areas of education, business, or psychology.
- Proficient in all microsoft office programs.
- Experience using social media. (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin)
