The Ultrasound Technologist will independently perform a variety of ultrasound examinations. Works closely with Radiologist/Cardiologist and referring physicians. Acts as a resource for specialized or complicated procedures.
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with two (2) years of on-the-job training at an accredited hospital. Graduate of an approved Ultrasound school.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 2 Years experience preferred. Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School or accredited program and registered as 1 of the following; RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RVS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RVS, or RCS) required. CPR (Required)
