DescriptionGain invaluable experience and earn money while representing Uncommon (GetUncommon.com) at your college campus and the surrounding area on both peer to peer and business to business levels. Promote Uncommon's brand locally, while helping to build followers and loyalty in your college's market. You will work closely with Uncommon staff members to develop your own path, and also learn skills in marketing, sales and entrepreneurship.
Uncommon, LLC (www.getuncommon.com) launched the first personalized, printed iPhone case service in 2009 and continues to lead the industry with innovative techniques and products. We offer a selection of ready-made accessories for Apple devices along with our customizable cases that can be designed online within minutes and delivered in just a few days. Our proprietary 3D TATT® (Thermo-Active Transdermal Technology®) process ensures durable, long-lasting, high-resolution imagery on every product we print. Apple stores have carried Uncommon cases globally since 2010, and our cases can also be found in other major retailers such as Verizon stores, AT&T stores, Toys R Us and Staples.
Ambassador Interns will receive payment through a sales commissions and bonuses program.
ResponsibilitiesSPECIFIC UNCOMMON COLLEGE AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES
-Establish and grow wholesale relationships with local bookstores and specialty retailers
-Generate and follow up with sales leads and maintain relationships to support ordering through Uncommon
-Promote the Uncommon brand and website to students on your college campus through various methods
-Social media campaigns
-Speaking to student groups
-Build awareness for Uncommon's Collegiate licensed products
-Create relationships and opportunities with student groups and fundraising initiatives that drive Uncommon sales
-Be a creative resource to these groups by introducing potential ways to achieve their goals through custom iPhone and/or iPad case sales
-Maintain regular reporting and communication with Uncommon support staff
-Represent Uncommon in a professional, on-brand and responsible manner

RequirementsREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Uncommon is seeking responsible, creative, driven and entrepreneurial students to join our College Ambassador program. We are currently only looking for students enrolled at these universities: University of Illinois, University of Nebraska, Michigan State University, Northwestern University, Indiana University, University of Louisville and University of Notre Dame.
-Social media active and savvy
-Active in groups, clubs and or other programs on campus
-GPA of at least 3.0 (out of 4.0)
-Entering Sophomore or Junior year in Fall of 2013
-Interest in sales and marketing
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-10 hours per week to spend on Uncommon ambassador activities
-Must own an iPhone, iPod or iPad
