Looking to build your film portfolio? Want to break into the fashion industry? We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic film student to join us this summer to produce, direct, film, and edit short feature films of our fashion designers and shows. FashionStake (www.fashionstake.com) is an online community for emerging fashion. We are on our way to becoming the largest marketplace for independent designers to directly connect with and sell to interested customers. We are currently working with 200+ top international designers, and were recently named one of ELLE Magazine’s “5 Online Fashion Startups to Watch.” You would be given full access to our portfolio of 100+ designers, who would invite you into their studios and to their fashion presentations/shows to give our community a behind-the-scenes look at our designers’ work. Our site draws 50k monthly visitors, so your films will receive great exposure, and you’ll also build good contacts within the fashion industry. You will be expected to run the full filming and production process, and to provide your own equipment. This can either be a part-time or full-time internship. At the end of the summer, we will discuss whether there is an opportunity to bring you on as a contractor to continue working with us.
