DescriptionThe key responsibility of the Online Business Manager is to fully manage the financial, legal and human resources side of the business, plus the ongoing projects, team and operations of the business. The Online Business Manager takes pride in creating and maintaining a solid foundation of the business, while keeping with the company’s stands of quality and client care.
The Online Business manager needs to have the ability to engage in and understand the company’s vision and provide the structure and support to make it happen. The ultimate goal is for Barbara to have a solid right hand person who will fully own the operations side of the business and drive the company culture towards automation, systems and training.
Develop and maintain a standard operations procedure for the business – all systems and procedures will be recorded and managed
Manage operations training for new employees
Manage the team, systems, technology and day-to-day deadlines of the business
Fully support the CEO and communicate tasks to team members
Events and Programs:
Translate CEO vision, plans and ideas into high level programs and offerings – implementing the pieces and team members to support the sales and delivery of the program
Manage multiple (and concurrent) projects from idea to execution
Manage the ‘backend’ of events – including sales processing, contract negotiating and technology set up
Build a strong working relationship with event management team and provide support as required to ensure success of a live event
Delegate to team members and vendors for completion of applicable tasks, set priorities and follow up as required
Manage the recruitment of new positions in the business – write ads, screen applicants, interview
Communicate with CEO on HR needs in the business
Handle escalated Operational, Office and HR issues and needs
Manage new employees, team coaches, vendors, bookkeeper, and other team members/employees
Manage the day-to-day running of the business from a financial perspective. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, efficiency.
Responsible for communicating financial information to key constituents and fulfilling financial directives from CEO.
Review P&L statements for accuracy & make business recommendation to CEO
Manage and review program financials for accuracy and make recommendations to CEO
Make improvements to the process and policies according to changing needs
Legal & Contracts:
Work closely with council to ensure contracts are current, accurate and effective.
Manage all aspects of contracting for programs, employees and vendors
Manage Trademarks, Copyrights and Online Warranties, Disclaimers & Guarantees

Experience with project management software and the ability to create and run the full implementation of a project via online software.
Understanding of the typical online based business program such as 1ShoppingCart, InfusionSoft, HTML and WordPress.

Has at least 2 years of applicable online experience in one or more of the fields of marketing, ecommerce, coaching, project management, personal development or other related area of study
