Description
We are a game-changing startup, revolutionizing the way friends, families and colleagues make group decisions. We're looking for a Marketing & Public Relations guru to get the word out about deci, a mobile and web application. It takes a mixture of creativity, analytical brains and pure hustle to succeed.
Duration: Internships available for 6 months - 1 year.

Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Create and execute local marketing strategies to encourage user adoption and penetration for deci in the ‘group-decide’ market space.
- Explore business development opportunities (sponsorships, partnerships, and co-marketing promotions) to increase awareness and visibility of deci in your local communities.
- Get word out about deci via press, blogs, forums and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research, including a competitive analysis of the market space.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss strategy and vision.
Requirements
You are:
- A charmer. You can easily identify and network with the influencers of your college town.
- Fired up about deci. You are ready to live, eat and breathe deci, spreading the love to everyone you encounter.
- A self-starter. Able to work well without constant direction.
- A problem-solver. You have an analytical mind and can navigate obstacles on the fly in a thoughtful and logical way.
- A total hustler. You do not fold under pressure. In fact, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strongly preferred:
- Previous marketing or public relations training
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Social media expert: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.
- College student with a focus in business, public relations, journalism or tech management.
