About DIGI Academy of Learners :Established in 2007 to provide exceptional childcare services to families in the Albany area. DIGI Academy of Learners, LLC is a New York State licensed, educational group family daycare in Albany, NY. DIGI offers families the home-like, caring environment that families want for their children with an academic focus to prepare children for kindergarten. The teachers at DIGI are trained in early childhood and are CPR certified.
We offer programs for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, full or part-time options, with reasonable tuition. We are participance of the Albany County Food Program.
Our two daycares offer convenient locations for commuters since they are located downtown and is right off Hwy 787.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:Create a stimulating environment for the child by conducting developmentally appropriate spanish activities online, via Skpe.
Demonstrate quality teaching by ensuring spanish curriculum is followed, lesson plans are effectively used and child assessment tools measured for class activity success.
Encourage classroom participation and positive interaction with other children.
Redirect undesirable behavior to promote positive socialization.
Represent DIGI Academia de los alumnos in a highly professional manner at all times.
Act as a liaison between Administrative staff and parents addressing problems and answering questions regarding spanish lessons of DIGI Academia de los alumnos Administrative staff is not available.
Participate in DIGI Academia de los alumnos community events as necessary.
Spend time outside of the classroom enriching his/her knowledge of spanish.
In conjunction with administrative staff, will send via email a student review every 60 days.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:Completion of 1-2 years of Undergraduate Degree in Education and or Spanish.
Excellent communication, follow-up, and literacy skills
Basic computer and office skills
Basic understanding of Spanish and childhood development.
