Description

Responsibilities:

• Work with the voice engineering team to administer and maintain VoIP platforms across multiple vendor equipment including hardware and software.
• Participate in team meetings where new product and project planning takes place. Participate in development of voice engineering and support documentation.
• Assist in the planning, development, coordination of scheduled voice platform maintenance.
• Perform daily checks, monitor vendor support and perform required maintenance to keep the voice systems highly available, highly stable, and always performing optimally.

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Enrolled in a Network or Voice Engineering curriculum.
• Entry level knowledge of voice infrastructure components (TDM or VoIP), how they interact as well as how they relate to other services and platforms, and work to apply these to Allstate’s usage. Vendor specific knowledge is not required.
• Ability to work in an “on call” implementation and support situations, as well as some nights and weekends.
