DescriptionThe House of Hope International is a retreat center of refuge and
renewal, a faith-based ministry support mission which makes possible
spiritual advancement for people of faith who need rest and
rejuvenation. Its Christian faith-based retreat services and programs
exist for the purpose of the spiritual renewal and education of lay
people (adults, youth, couples, groups) and religious professionals
(religious communities, churches).
Our unique multi-faceted retreat house provides religious workers with
a place of retreat ministry, hospitality, creative communications, and
referrals for improved well-being. The House of Hope International
operates year-round due to its being an essential, in-demand
charitable organization. Its favorable spiritual climate and
formative programs are designed to help better prepare "the Way" of
the Lord (Mark 1:1-3 RSV) in the lives of our visitors and guests.
Those we serve come from all denominations, ethnic backgrounds and
cultures; and, at the same time, we do have a unique outreach to
positively affect, help, and supplement the ministry of churches and
religious communities in various ways (given their special needs and

Term of Internship: After screening and orientation, 1 year minimum
preferred (renewable); yet, some short-term internship projects are
available for qualified candidates.
ResponsibilitiesTypes of Unpaid Internships: public relations, culinary arts,
development, fundraising, grant-writing, library science, office
maintenance, accounting, administration/management, computer
programming/data entry, family/pastoral counseling, paraprofessional
work, visitation of the sick/imprisoned, respect life activities,
parish ministry, mentoring/tutoring, translation, communications
media, counseling research.
RequirementsBasic Requirements: M/F:18-45 (flexible); high school diploma;
