Description
In this internship, you will work with the WLAN Embedded Software Applications group to solve WLAN/Bluetooth coexistence problems using customer hardware. You will recreate coexistence problem reports with an array of cellular handsets, Bluetooth devices and WLAN access points and document test processes and solutions. You will also support the development of an automated handset coexistence test setup.
Requirements
Job Requirements :
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic background (3.00/4.00) or higher.
- Candidates with previous industry experience preferred.
- Candidates available for at least two consecutive semesters are preferred (not just Summer semester)
- Course work and/or thesis/project related to wireless communications is essential
- Scripting experience: Python, TcL, Perl
- Software automation experience – hardware automation (GPIB/USB) preferred
- Hands-on experience with RF electronics and microprocessors in lab settings
- Practical knowledge of WLAN and Bluetooth network and device configuration
- Excellent communication skills
