Job Profile: Web Designer OR Developer Job Location: Mumbai, India Joining: Before 1st Feb 2013 Job Type: NON PAID if Experience then Stipend will be provided Experience: Less than 1 Year OR Fresher Internship Duration: 3 to 6 Months SD Motiongraphiks is looking Intern as a Web Designer to join our Web Design Company team! The Web Designer uses proven experience in front-end design and coding to design and build e-mail newsletters, web site landing pages and designing layouts in Photoshop & designing websites for clients.

Responsibilities

This position does not supervise others, but may give guidance to the work of interns and freelancers. 1. Designs and codes email marketing newsletters in accordance to ethical email marketing guidelines and principles. 2. Provides full front end coding and design of splash pages and landing pages with direction from Sr. Marketing Manager to ensure optimal conversion for SD Motiongraphiks properties. 3. Online ad banner creation, including animated gif, jpg and rich media. 4. Updates design and front-end coding of SD Motiongraphiks websites.

Requirements

- Proficiency with computer usage, including email, Internet, and standard software - Ability to speak, read, and writes effectively in English - Ability to pay strong attention to detail - Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously - Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines - Ability to communicate and interact professionally with culturally diverse clients, providers - Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines - Ability to work effectively in a small organization with an emphasis on teamwork - Solid Internet research skills - Demonstrated knowledge of HTML and CSS - Demonstrated knowledge of CMS (Drupal, WordPress) - Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & SEO - Self-starter; organized; detail-oriented - Experience with browser-based email blast services are a plus, but not mandatory
