Description
As a web designer; your job will be to create the look, layout and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is created, assistance with maintenance and additions to the website will be required. You will work with our graphic and development teams for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.Responsibilities
As a web designer your duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:* Writing and editing content
* Designing web page layout
* Determining technical requirements
* Updating websites
* Creating back up files
* Solving code problems
* Fundamentals of design imaging
Requirements
Understanding of Adobe Suites (Adobe Photoshop CS5+ and Dreamweaver +)Design mock-up websites in photoshop and convert to standard XHTML + CSS
* Fundamentals of design imaging
* Basic web design
* Content management
* Editing for video and audio
