Paid internship for students in Massachusetts only. We're located in Boston, MA.
Web Developers utilize the latest web development standards and solid hands-on technical skills to create sites that function properly across a variety of browsers and platforms. They share a brain with entire project team to ensure flawless execution and work closely with creative to enhance and bring ideas to life.
Work with Designers to translate visual concepts into functional websites, microsites, HTML emails, and interactive ads
Requirements
Must show proficiency with HTML 4 and 5, CSS 2 and 3 and JavaScript
Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and JSON a plus
A good understanding of object oriented programming and relational data modeling.
Must have some experience with a server side language (ASP.NET, Java, PHP)
Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
Must be self-motivated; able to multi-task; enthusiastic about taking initiative to be productive and efficient; and function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment
Strong communication skills (both in person and in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding
Technical skills and knowledge in a broad range of pertinent areas, including many of the following: digital platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet, kiosk, response design etc.) are a plus
Demonstration of key competencies: accountability for results, client focus, team effectiveness and attention to detail
