Description
The Veterans Center non-profit organization dedicated helping military veterans whom are disabled, disadvantaged and homeless throughout the State of Georgia. It is our mission and purpose to help all veterans in need of assistance in the Meto Atlanta area.The Veterans Center looking for a dynamic and energetic Graphic/Web Design Intern. The Veterans Center understand that our veterans are in need of assistance, therefore we are requesting for intern to help us fulfill our purpose to the community. This program will teach interns practical skills and knowledge that will help them in their future careers and contribute to their resume. The majority of the work can be done from home and on your schedule. It is estimated that each intern will have about 10 hours of work each work, although this may vary. After successful completion of the program, each intern will receive a letter of recommendation outlining the work they have completed and their particular strengths in the course.

Each week you will be given resources to better understand the latest advancements in non-profit and online marketing. You will have the chance to read articles on these subjects and increase your knowledge in these areas dramatically.
Each week you will also be given articles and excerpts from books to better understand international and national travel, cultural interaction, and tourism. These readings will help you understand travel from many different perspectives and will allow to think and speak critically about them.
This internship is a great opportunity to get involved with a non-profit organization at its beginning stages of development. Because of this, your input and opinions are extremely valuable to us and you will have a chance to help guide the direction our organization goes in.
You will dramatically improve your skills and understanding of internet, guerrilla, and traditional marketing. The skills you will develop from this course will make you a valuable asset for any job that involves sales, marketing, and international relations.
Responsibilities
This intern should have experience or working knowledge of: (Dreamweaver, Flash,HTML, InDesign, Illustrator, PHP, and Photoshop), prepares and production, and a
knowledge of typography and principals of good design. The majority of the work can be done from home and on your schedule. It is estimated that each intern will have about 10 hours of work each work, although this may vary.
