Description

We are an upstart op-ed sportswriting website focusing on teams in the 4 major sports located in California, Oregon, and Washington. Interns will be assigned to the team(s) under their scope of expertise. Interns will preferably be located near a team and able to follow them on a regular basis. Interns will be assigned to a regular writing schedule and produce one to two page articles at least weekly focusing on current events for the team(s) they are assigned to. Interns will also be expected to participate in regular online roundtable discussions regarding their team(s). We are currently working with PR departments to conduct phone interviews with players so verbal communication skills are a must.
