Summary of Assistant Administrator:
Responsible for supporting the Facility Administrator in overall facility management, profitability, operations, and direction in all aspects. Assists with census development, management of AR & Collections, resident/patient care, state and federal survey compliance and positive employee relations. Completes rounds of entire facility at least daily to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations. The Assistant Facility Administrator is a key and visible supervisor working directly with all residents, family and employees. The Assistant Facility Administrator is responsible for the timely oversight of the accounting systems at the nursing center. The Assistant Facility Administrator is involved in the maintenance of accurate and complete trust account records, census information, billing and resident accounts receivable statements, wages paid to employees' payroll and invoice processing for the facility. The Assistant Facility Administrator is responsible for assuring the timely collection of accounts receivable from all payer sources. Follows all company policies and procedures.

Summary of AIT - Administrator in Training:
The AIT is responsible to develop into a leadership role that is required to successfully administer a facility in accordance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations, as well as, company policies and procedures. Perform duties and responsibilities assigned for the safe and continued operation of the facility.

Assistant Administrator Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Management, Accounting or an MBA, or other related field.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the state in which the center is located.
  • Ability to communicate effectively the vision, mission and philosophy of care to promote a fully engaged team.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.

AIT - Administrator in Training Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Management, Accounting or an MBA, or other related field.
  • Must be able to obtain a Nursing Home Administrator license within 1 year.
  • Ability to communicate effectively the vision, mission and philosophy of care to promote a fully engaged team.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with others.
