What you will do
  • Maintain challenging performance standards
  • Develop relationships with customers through successful management of product or service delivery.
  • Monitor and direct all store level costs including labor, and cost of goods.
  • Create and implement plans of action and steps for improvement to ensure continual store growth, progress and profitability
  • Establish open, candid and trusting relationships with staff, demonstrating respect for diversity and differences; develop and demonstrate a collaborative team approach at all levels
  • Motivate and train staff
  • Establish and maintain a safe work environment
  • Other assigned duties
What you need
  • High school diploma or degree in automotive service technology related field from an accredited institution.
  • Graduate of approved certified automotive service technology program. Preferred but not required
  • Two years of leadership experience in an automotive repair facility.
  • Ability to positively relate and communicate with customers, including outstanding telephone skills.
  • Prior responsibilities of leading, motivating and counseling employees under his/her direction on issues such as safety, quality, and policy and procedure administration / implementation.
  • Demonstrated history of improving facility sales while also retaining customers loyal to the shop.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale software programs, and the mathematical skills to create billings, estimates and to control inventory levels.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance to keep facility equipment in safe and effective operating condition is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in operations management, such as cash management and loss prevention.
  • Proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Office.
