BIM Coordinator: Building Information Modeling Coordinator with REVIT experience - OPEN to pay – Our client offers a broad range of consulting, design and construction services spanning all project phases, including project feasibility studies, electrical design-build services (with Autodesk Certified Professionals on staff), BIM coordination, hard cost estimating, facilities maintenance, and 24hour emergency services. Our client has an enduring commitment to customer satisfaction, quality, safety and innovation in our field.
Presently, our client is seeking talented individuals for the position of BIM Coordinator.
At the company, a BIM Coordinator is an integral part of our TEAM that provides critical support to the field and the Preconstruction Manager/Project Manager.
Create electrical 3D layouts derived from project specifications.
Coordinate equipment and routing locations based on project needs and applicable NEC and NFPA code.
Create new technical drawings and update existing drawings using Autodesk Revit 2016.
Review federated models and assess “clash resolution,” alter the model accordingly while adhering to best practices in regards to field installation and cost savings according to established standards.
Create detailed drawings, such as field build sheets, layout drawings, electrical shop drawings, and drawings of intermediate and final assemblies for use in assembly, installation and repair of electrical components and equipment.
Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting to Project Manager/ Foreman for review.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in Revit 2014 or later, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 Glue required.
Applicant must be capable of creating parametric families, circuiting elements, and creating Bills of Materials based on element parameters found within the model.
Must also have solid understanding of spatial cognizance, clash detection, and basic electrical installation methodologies regarding NEC and NFPA.
