Description:

Independently evaluate, select and purchase various commodities including
electrical and electronic components, mechanical parts, fabricated assemblies and subassemblies,
as well as maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), thirdparty
services, packaging and plant support commodities.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

? Develop and execute implementation of commodity strategies in collaboration
with engineering, sales, and manufacturing teams;
? Identify purchasing and cost saving opportunities for the Company and leverage
price negotiations;
? Drive cost reduction initiatives and efforts through to implementation;
? Issue and maintain Purchase Orders;
? Work closely with manufacturing team to address and recover any supply chain
issues;
? Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers;
? Perform quotation analysis and presentation to clients;
? Maintain inventory goals and material requirements;
? Support financial team including invoice support, resolution of inconsistencies or
discrepancies identified as result of 3way match (comparison of purchase order
to receipt to invoice), and dispositions including resolution of materials, variances
or issues;
? Supplier performance tracking and communication;
? Master and execute Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) interface software;
? Support and foster an environment of continuous improvement related to cost,
quality, delivery, and service;
? Maintain compliance with generally accepted and Company and departmental
purchasing policies and procedures; and
? Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
? BS or BA degree desired
? 3+ years experience in purchasing, commodities and industrial preferred
? ERP and Microsoft Office experience
? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
? Technical familiarity with a range of materials and processes
