Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Available Shifts:

weekdays 3-11 pm
weekends 7am-3 pm; 3pm-11pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position provides quality nursing care to residents and is responsible for performing duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Maintains current CPR certification as mandated by state requirements
  • Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program
  • Have passed a state approved competency examination within 120 days of employment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management and employees.
  • Ability to functions independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow the appropriate safety precautions.
