TE Connectivity has a Corporate Strategy summer internship available in Fuquay Varina, NC within the Energy business unit (BU) of the Industrial Solutions organization. The Corporate Strategy Intern will focus on a key project or series of projects to support the strategic initiatives of TE Connectivity’s Energy Division.
Responsibilities
Potential project(s) may include:
- Conducting industry research to evaluate key trends across markets, industries, and competitors
- Supporting key Business Unit initiatives:
- Go-To-Market optimization
- New Product Introductions
- Sales and Operations Planning
- Analyzing Product Line / Market performance to identify opportunities for growth
- Facilitating the development of annual and/or long-term strategic plans
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a MBA Program
- Three to six years of business experience preferably in consulting, corporate strategy, or business development
- Ability to conduct in-depth industry research, define market trends, and interpret financial data
- Solid understanding of and the ability to identify the key levers that create business value
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience in making presentations and communicating ideas and plans to management
- Ability to work independent of direct supervision
- Knowledge of the Electrical Transmission & Distribution market is a plus
